Summer flows are in full swing, a wide variety of insects are hatching throughout the day, and fish are hungry and looking up - we are in the midst of prime fishing season here in southeastern Wyoming! The North Platte and Laramie Rivers, along with all tributary streams are in excellent condition with cold and clear flows, plenty of insect activity, and hungry fish. Alpine Lakes are all free of ice and mostly accessible, however snow drifts may still hinder access to some of the higher lakes such as the Gap and Shelf Lakes.
